Urbex: Abandoned Soviet Cold War Bunker

The eerie photos show thousands of WWII bunkers built by the Nazis over more than 600 miles of Europe’s cities, photographed by Norwegian photographer Vidar Ruud. Ruud found them abandoned, full of rubble and pigeon droppings, graded almost entirely flat with no significant geographical features nearby. Looking at the bunkers, Ruud said they reminded him of โ€œsmall volcanoes like extinct volcanoes in the Western Desert in Egypt.”.
